The Pregnant Women Support Act is an important bill to address because as stated on the blog there have been numerous abortions reported to the CDC. Having programs for women with unexpected pregnancies and authorizing grants for education and nutrition will help promote healthier babies. By providing grants this act will aid in helping those who live in poverty and are unable to afford the expenses of having a child. Promoting services and education to expectant mothers will hopefully decrease the amount of abortions. Services or programs to allow teenage mothers to complete high school will reduce the stress of not being able to get an education.

We definitely agree with your thoughts. I don't think that anyone can argue that reducing the number of abortions is a bad thing; whether you're for abortion or not. This being said, this bill will help protect the health of many mothers and babies and will give the babies the healthy beginning that they need and deserve.
As you said, this bill will also help mothers who live in poverty. WIC is a wonderful program which can be a great help for our mothers who may be considered part of the "working poor".
